SASCA #6 Event Meeting - July 8 2025

1. Autocross #6 July 5 RCCC co event with Spokes

   1. Course designer: Jeff Vineyard. Total entries - 181 pre, 161 checked in, 14 walk ups 

   2. Lightning delay right after meeting. Cancelled event at 11:10 as front was still lingering. Last lightning strike in the 5 mile radius was 1:15ish

   3. Tail Lights at 12:04. 

   4. Top Novice 

   5. Top PAX  - Jeff Vineyard in Jeff C’s car during course testing

   6. TTOD! 

   7. Event discussion.

2. Last lightning strike was about 1:15

-New online registration/check in. Need to limit online check-in to 6:30am-8:45am day of.

-No leaks in trailer. Yay!

-Had 6 rows in grid. Always need an odd #.

-Lots of people putting on numbers with tape and paper didn’t dry off their car first, so numbers were coming off. And cars weren't even at speed.

-Offered to have people have the option to donate their entry fee instead of refund. Stephen Williams (current member) and Tim Coyle (past member) have both been affected by the floods.

-will refund everyone else later this week. Walk ups. I will see if they have MSR and give credit.

-We still are out all operating costs from the event. Makeup event?

- early worker blacklist if no show

-Did anyone see the printed #s that go in tech?

-need more wax markers? No

-Event 4 results still need to be posted.

-check for moldy stuff at next Aug 9 event
