-changed drivers meeting language:

-- RUN to reset cones. 20 second gap between cars. So if you see a cone move, or get knocked over, you need to SPRINT to put it back in place, then SPRINT back out of the way to a spot that is safely out of the way of any oncoming cars that may lose control at any given moment.

-- If you see a cover that is out of place or hasn't been reset, come to a complete stop and point at the cone, then move in with the run at 80%. You will get a rerun.

-- If you are driving and you see corner workers that are in your driving line and you feel unsafe with continuing, come to a complete stop and point at the worker, then continue at 80 percent. You will get a rerun.

-safety will address corner chiefs over the radio after radio checks before course goes hot.

SECTION 11: Class Championships

  • SASCA awards trophies to members with the most points in their open class or local PAX class during the year. A member must compete in at least (# of events/2) +.5, rounded down, of that years’ SASCA autocross events to be eligible for a trophy. So 10-11 events would need 6 events. 8-9 events would need 5. Two lowest-scoring events will be “drops” and are taken into account each season when determining total points for each competitor.
