Meeting Notes 3-29-25

SASCA #3 Event Meeting - April 3 2025

1. Autocross #3 Mar 29 RCCC

   1. Course designer: Collins Brant. Total entries - 222 with times - 4 runs, 4 heats.

   2. Tail Lights at 3:44. 

   3. Top Novice 52 novices – ES Porsche 944 - Jacob Dean. Got Tom Choi cert. and trophy

   4. Top PAX  - Matt Morhardt in SSC

   5. TTOD! – Tom Harrington in his Kart

   6. Event discussion.

-Huge event. Hotswap between heats. 5-8 min turnover. Great job by EVERYONE. 

-Mike had to run to Lowes to get tape

-Registration issues of people not being in the computer. Spokes/SASCA differences when combining MSR files. 

-Registration or Worker Chief need to scrub no-shows before starting work assignments.

-New phone acquired for payments. Thanks Ricky

Todo

- 200 registration cap. Passed.

- Doubles all the time, not fun runs. Passed. Jeff needs to change MSR

-radio adapters for headphones ??

-Backup laptop is with Neil for AxWare install

-Working on the Spokes system of registration and check in.

-Jeff got with Spokes to poke around MSR event settings. Need to see what is different for co-events.

-Need colored tape

-Make “Channel 11” labels to put on radios.

Voted to change YEP scoring for classes:

• 1st: 25 points

• 2nd: 18 points

• 3rd: 15 points

• 4th: 12 points

• 5th: 10 points

• 6th: 8 points

• 7th: 6 points

• 8th: 4 points

• 9th: 2 points

• 10th+: 1 point

Neil Benberthy looks like he will be moving soon. So we need backups for timing and scoring. Chris Hill stepped up to learn timing and scoring, but doesn’t have actual event experience.
