Rumors are rampant in the Austin area that the "Green" people (otherwise known as "Tree Huggers") are uniting to try to force the Circuit Of The Americas to make accommodations to preserve the environment. They are cooperating with cyclists and other groups to make the largest possible impact.
They are insisting on speed bumps, roundabouts and other traffic calming reatures on the faster parts of the course. They want protected entries into the fencing to allow Police traffic enforcement cars easy and safe access to the course from their radar positions. They want a dedicated bike lane throughout the entire  facility, including the racing surface of the course, to allow cyclists to change their observation point at will and with no charge.
The cyclists believe that a lot of the problems can be resolved and the added savings of fewer emissions into the atmosphere if the race is actually run on bicycles.
A committee of F1 engineers has respnded that it would be impossible to restructure the anatomy and software of the F1 Android drivers to allow for enough leg motion to ride a bike. Software alone could take weeks to develop. It could also result in massive layoffs for F1 when the hundred or so "over the wall" crewmen from each team are no longer needed.

There certianly wasn't much nature there in the first place.
A few dear and buzzards may have been forcibly relocated.

People who spend their time deciding how other people should behave is what ruins the USA.

This is the only country I've ever lived in where people were conditioned to police each other.
