This looks like an interesting event, and prove to be fun (lifted from Facebook):

Come take part in the first Outlaw Autocross presented by Mazda Raceway at Harris Hill. Leave your SCCA rules at home and come prepared to use third and possibly fourth gear. This quarterly, invitational event is open to current Spokes, SASCA, TAMSCC, SCCA & NASA members. Of course H2R members are encouraged to participate at no cost. For more info E-Mail DJ @ mazdastuff@gmail.com or Philipp@harrishillroad.com

Please note there is a 99db noise limit, if your car is louder than this add a muffler before this event.

See http://www.clubregistration.net/ to enter.

I'm interested...can't find this on the Harris Hills site or in clubregistration....any more particulars?   Dates?  A link to the event itself on clubregistration?

This would be fun to have a SASCA presence if it doesn't conflict with our schedule.

Maybe interesting.  I wonder if I should bring the Zed or the Rabbit?

You must create an account, and once you get logged in you land on the registration page for this event (it's the only thing available).

Are you a club member?  Its quick and easy to pay up and join if you're not.

Novices should be fine, and non-mazda owners will be there to place top lap times.

Spent the afternoon laying out the course for the Outlaw Autocross.  Oh baby, this is gonna be good!

All the natural turns of the track are left alone, but some autocross elements have been added down the side straight, along the beginning of the back straight, and just prior to the dam turn.

If you are are an autocrosser, bring your Big Boy pants.  If you're a track rat, get ready to make your car dance like never before.

Note: this is NOT an SCCA event and the speeds will be higher than usual.  Not as fast as the open track, but faster than an SCCA-legal autocross.  We are running on the track's insurance.
