Does this organization ever make treks to the road course in San Marcos?

See ya'll round!  Erik.

Welcome to the boards.

Please come on out, borrow a helmet and have fun.
If you decide not to register, you can still do ride alongs.
Don't be shy, just ask anyone without a passenger.

Yes, a lot of us have Memberships at H2R, and many others participate in their HPDE's.

Watch our event boards for any updates, Velocity Adventures is an organization that schedules non-h2r members events.

What do you drive?

I have a helmet.

My car is a 1978 Porsche 928, it's got Koni's and hypercoils and the higher-compression Euro engine swapped into it.  No ABS or any kind of traction assist.  It is a little big for a typical autoX, which is why I was asking about the track.

Cool beans, save your tech questions for Federico Del Toro.
He'll be racing his track built Boxter S, he's also a Porsche Guru.

So does your car run CIS?

I drive a Z4 SI and a 83 GTI.

Yes it runs CIS.  The US models used CIS in 78-9, and the Euro S engines (which I have swapped out: 300HP) ran CIS till '84.

I'm off to cars n coffee now to see if I can get it teched... see ya there!

I'm dealing with CIS for the first time in my life.
I bought a GTI for AutoX, and this system is cursed.

May eventually switch to Dual Side draft carbs instead.

Hey Erik, I didn't see your name on the results, were you able to swing by and check out the event?

No, I was not.  Unfortunately I was out working until 0330 on Sunday morning... so I basically missed event afterwards.    I met a guy named Dalton on Saturday morning's cars-n-coffee who drove a Legend car though, he said he would be there.

I did pass by Retama/I35 @ about 1400 though, looked like a pretty good turnout (from the freeway doing 50mph).

No worries, our paths will cross sometime soon.
