Kelly USA

I drove thru Kelly USA to look at existing parking lots and the huge lot we ran on back in the '90s is still in place. It must measure 600x1200+, but there is so much loose gravel now I doubt that it can be cleaned up well enough to run on.

Wow, that is a really nice lot! Too bad it has broken down and turned to gravel.
Thanks for doing the recon out there. I kept hearing about that lot out there, but didn't know anything about it.

Is the surface trashed? Or just covered in gravel?
Because you can rent an 8' street sweeper from Sunbelt Rentals for $250/day.

Shane, it could be just old and weathered, like Dalton, but it may have been tarred and covered in gravel to seal it. This lot is just past the main entrance along Gen Huddell Dr.

What do you do with the many tons of gravel you pick up with said street sweeper during that day of use? ;-)

Actually, the model I was thinking of just sweeps dirt off to the side with a huge barrel shaped rotating brush. No bucket. So... to answer your question... we leave it behind!
