Yeah, took me a minute to find the right code to use. Anyway, Here is Tajima's record run up Pike's Peak this year running a 910HP Suzuki built specifically for this venue. We had heard that car was making over 1000HP. We were up there two years ago or so and he was under 11 minutes, but no one had ever broken the 10 min barrier until this year. But, the forest service continues paving the dirt road every year so that may be one reason he's broken his old record. Here is some info on his car:

How do they get their gopro videos without all the wind. I put my camera in the same spot and get nothing but wind on an autocross course...

You modify the sound track by lowering the treble through mid-range to zero and increasing the base to mid-range to high then the wind sound effect is minimized.

I use an external microphone to record sound separately and then sync it in during editing to get rid of most of the wind noise.

Skip to 1-2min (Vid is of my GoPro using the built-in sound)

Same GoPro here but with an external microphone placed where wind is minimal.  Was a super windy day out at TWS (20-30mph winds)

His reflexes are amazing.
That requires a lifetime of conditioning.
