You need to stop by the SAXET Gun Show....
Lots of folks walking around selling their own armaments.
And of course, we're here promoting AMSOIL, as we do monthly!

I am interested in purchasing a hand gun and getting my conceal carry license.  I just need to stop purchasing car parts.   Azn  I'll try to attend the next show in town.

If you're "travelling" in texas, you can carry a concealed weapon in your car.

"Travelling" has been defined by driving through 3 or more counties.  So even if you're not and a cop busts you with a unlicensed concealed weapon, you could notify him that you're, "travelling".

We don't go anywhere in this damn town without a heater.

You can carry a concealed handgun in your vehicle without traveling...  Read up on the Castle Doctrine..

Your vehicle is an extension of your 'castle'...  As is your place of business.  You are fully legal to carry a concealed weapon at your home, in your vehicle, at your place of business, or while between those locations (i.e. between your car and your house, or between your car and office building)...  All of that, without a CHL.

Now, if you want to be able to carry when you go to the bank, out to dinner, etc, you will need a CHL.
