Weather report looks terrible.
I wont be running.  The GTI isnt ready and the Z4 is just too sensitive.

Rain events are actually more fun than dry events...  You learn a *lot* about car control since everything happens much more slowly.

I did run the first event this year at Blossom when it was drizzling and wet. Fun to drive on wet pavement, but I sure dont want to take a bath like David S. did in his Zombie Woof two months ago at SAR. Soooo, lets hope its dry Sunday morning!

hahha... Well, just wear some dry-fit exercise gear and you'll dry off pretty quickly :-)

Evidently they rained out, and pissed a few people off in the process.

It happens...  If folks understood all the reasoning behind it (lots of factors came into play for that decision), the decision makes a lot of sense, and I can't fault the Spokes BoD for the decision they made.

This is why being on the BoD can be difficult -- you can't make everybody happy all the time, but you have to make some tough decisions at times and just run with it.

Well, we are just running for fun and it wouldnt be much fun working in a cold rain especially if you aren't dressed appropriately. I just hope the club didn't have to pay the full rental fee.

You both make valid points.

I'm sure they struggled with the decision.

What's funny, the people who complained knew the weather was going to be terrible.

Maybe our new equipment manager should acquire some inexpensive ponchos, to prevent this from happening to us..
