Kart Challenge November 12th

Hey, this is Mike DeLashmutt. I met a few of you in the last few months, and ran the silver prelude during sasca #10 @ blossom.

Well, I also help run ZSport(.org), a Nissan/Datsun/Infiniti car club here in town. Some of you had mentioned meeting up for a karting event at this month's meeting, and I want to invite you guys to Alamo Karts in Boerne on November 12th for a karting challenge we have planned.

If a few of you guys care to go, this would work perfectly since our Austin Z chapter can't make it. We can make it the SASCA vs ZSport karting challenge.

For those who haven't been out before, Alamo Karts has a decent track, with karts what run a track average of 30mph. Not your typical 'malibu' karts! For more info, check out their website at www.alamokarts.com

As per our group package with management, its $55 to enter. This gets you 1 warm up session, 1 timed session for qualifying, and the top 3 from each team will go on the final challenge to battle for the fastest time and bragging rights. There is normally a fun run for those who didn't make it to finals. The karts are always "turned up" for us so be prepared to race and have you game faces on. We usually have lunch at Rudy's BBQ afterwards, as is tradition.

Just about a week away. Thought to keep it fresh in your mind.  November 12th, Noon-2pm at Alamo Karts in Boerne.

Per our Facebook response, we will have at least 6 ZSport guys, and 3-4 SASCA people so far. Could use a few more of you to join us.

We hold this event annually (i've been lucky enough to attend the last 2), and guarantee that you will have a great time. The management usually removes the limiters for our group, and we've been known to rub karts and tear up a few hay bales. Its a lot of fun, if you can make it!

Generally Saturday is busy for me, and we have an early morning AutoX event the next day.
