Randy Q and I are both signed up.
Who else from our club is participating?
Side note: where to get a good deal on a SA2005 or better helmet?

I bought my Bell SA2010 from Discovery Parts:
http://www.discoveryparts.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi
They paid the shipping and included a free helmet bag.

With such tight pricing on these items, this site does seem to offer the best deal.
I.e. the free helmet bag with purchase.
I'm considering the Bell Sport also....

Got your gear yet?
I know a few of the SPOKES people will be there.
I'm wondering how comfortable the clubhouse is going to be?
Or if I should leave the wifey at home?
And it appears they changed the date to the 20th.....

You'll have a blast. We participated in a Gymkhana there in May this year. Clubhouse is nice, the wives enjoyed the comfy chairs. There's an observation deck as well that they can watch from as well. Great track & great staff at H2. Have fun!

Is there a caterer or any place nearby to eat?

There's nothing really close to HH but within a few minutes drive, you can just about anything you want to eat, from a "quarter pounder" to escargot. I reccommend Milt's BBQ, about half mile North of Kyle on the west side of I-35 or Garcia's on Hwy 150 east of Kyle. A little further up the road is Dan's Hamburgers (next to Cabela's in Buda) which serves the best breakfast in Hays and fourteen surrounding counties.

Cyclegear off I10 and Wurzbach sells a motorcycle helmet with Snell 2010 for around $200. I picked one up and its a really nice helmet for the price.

On the signup email there was a link offering track day insurance. Anyone have any experience with it? As I understand it, this is not a "race" scenario, so the chances of car contact should be minimal.

Woody, you owe me 45 minutes of my life back.
CycleGear had one Shoei Hlmet for $420, and it was only M2010.
Jeff, they don't call them accidents for nothing.
So whose doing your checklist? RhineWest BMW wanted to charge $150 just to sign off the check sheet. I laughed directyly into their nazi faces and walked out.

We have to get that done PRIOR to going? I thought they would do it for us there like Tech inspection at an autox... glad you said something about it... where is the place you're getting yours done at?

If you guys have any questions or need to double check anything, you should contact Sondra directly. Better to ask
than show up the same day and have an issue.
