Hello all,
I have never been to an autocross event, so I really would not know where to start.  I get the tech inspection and walkthroughs, as well as doing my part on the course.  What I do not know is what class I would fall under (excluding the dumb-a$$ class Wink).  I currently drive a 2006 Mustang 4.0L automatic (stock gears) with a JLT CAI and SCT tune.  I have installed a GT take-off rear sway bar and I also have a strut tower brace in transit and will be installed by 10:00pm Tuesday.  I have not lowered the car (yet) and have not replaced the UCA and LCA's (yet).  I am running stock 16" wheels.
So,  where would I fall in the competiton and is there a link to the rules of autocrossing anywhere?

Later,
Lee

Lee, SASCA follows the SCCA rules for the most part that can be found here:
http://www.scca.com/documents/2011%20Tech/2011%20SCCA%20Solo%20Rules.pdf

Here are the stock classifications for most cars:
http://www.scca.com/documents/2011%20Tech/2011%20stock%20listings.pdf

There are other resources on the SCCA website here:

Lee, it looks like a 2006 Mustang V6 would run in GS. I am not familiar with the CAI and SCT tunes you are installed, but I think a 'street prepared class' like ESP would allow for the tuning mods and suspension changes.

Everyone you meet there will be more than happy to guide you in the right direction.
Just ask and listen.

Here's how its going to go down:
You pull up to the gate, get a wrist band.
Go park near everyone else.
Take all the stuff out of your car.
Go to trailer to register.
Go to tech inspection.
Go to meeting,
Get work assignment.
Race/Work or Work/Race.

See you out there,
Pants!

Pants forgot the part about having a blast and enjoying a day with gearheads.

See a Sunday!
