Hill Country Cruise or Rally Event

The weather is cooling off enough for some nice cruises through our epic back country roads.
Id like to see some event for a Rally Cross or an enjoyable group cruise.
Who else thinks this would be a good idea?

Really?
Come on guys. We have some of the most amazing roads right outside our own backdoors.
Let's get a cruise in before it gets cold.

Gas is getting cheaper so that's not an excuse! lol
I would suggest running up to Bandera, then on to Tarpley, Utopia, up to Leakey, then down to Vanderpool and then head back through Hunt, Ingram, and Kerrville, or back down through Medina to Bandera.
Another fun run would be to the car museum in Rosanky which is just north of Lockhart. The Central Texas Museum of Automotive History has a great collection of vehicles. Stop on the way up for some great BBQ at one of the three top bbq restaurants in Texas.
see
http://ctmah.org/
for more info on museum. There are some great back roads out of New Braunfels to Lockhart.

The prior was my first consideration.
The latter sounds more delicious.
Both sound like excellent fun.

Count me in. (But the best BBQ is in Taylor.)

I keep telling my wife that, and she always slaps me when I do.

As to a route, I defer to others, but for an AWESOME car museum-like experience, you won't be dissappointed by a visit to A&E Classics, just south of New Braunfels!
There is NO admission...

lol, me too. But only if they're hot.
I was reading some old issues of The Rattler.
Those boys used to do some good old fashioned hill climbs.
I wonder what Sheriff would let us get away with it in his county?
