We are going to discuss important topics.  Unimportant ones too!

The meeting starts at 7:30pm, but beer banter usually starts around 6:45pm.

This is going to be an important meeting for the club on the 29th.  A number of very important issues will be discussed this time around, and there will need to be some decisions made that will impact the club in a number of ways, moving forward.  "New blood" is needed to help the club keep going and we need volunteers to step up, otherwise events will likely not keep running as smoothly as they have been for the last few years.  It takes volunteers to make these events happen, and without key positions being filled, it puts a lot of strain on the rest of the 'core' individuals.

Please make the effort to come on out if you care at all about your club.

I attended a meeting several months ago and stated then that I would like to get more involved. Unfortunately, I've had to miss every meeting (and most race events) since then because of my work schedule. I still meant what I said and plan to attend every meeting that I am able. I work the night this meeting will be held so I will not be in attendance, but I wanted to let you know that I care about the club regardless.

If I read between the lines right, it sounds like we will need to more forward on some important, pending specific issues that Ricky will be bringing up.

I have not been a consistent participator, but I have tried in my own way.  I'll be there to see what transpires...

If ya run on Sunday...you should attend the meeting the following Wednesday.  It doesn't take long...we do have fun (no it's not torture), and you might find out some pretty cool things about the inner workings of the club!

This is pretty much the bulk of it...  There is only a small handful of people that make this club operate...  People get burned out and/or leave for various reasons, and it becomes increasingly more painful.
