The Speed Channel website 'speed.com' will be streaming coverage of a news conference of a "motorsports related announcement from Austin, TX." at 2:00pm tomorrow. It will also be covered again on the TV channel at 7:00pm. That's all I know.

An article in this morning's paper indicates that it probably has to do with resolving a conflict of a UT home football game on the same date.

I think UT can 'get over it' due to the huge number of people (and money) that an F1 race would pull in to the city.
