Work Assignment Selection at Registration

We encourage everyone to register for each event via the axwaresystems.com registration site.  When you register you will be able to select your work assignment preference.  We appreciate you doing so because it makes it easier to organize the day and hopefully make it more likely you値l do a job you enjoy.

Each work assignment will indicate the number of workers we need for each job for the day.  Simply look through the list of registrations and count the number of folks already signed up for the job you壇 like.  If the position you want has not already been filled by the number needed then just select it.  You値l likely get the job you requested but you could be asked to do something else instead.  The software will not block over selection of a particular job so please count the number of selections already made for the job you want before you select it.   If the job you want has been filled select a different one or you can wait till you get on site.

The number needed for each position is based on the assumption that we値l only run two heats for the day, which is usually the case.  If we have over 90+ participants we値l likely run three heats.  If so, we値l assign positions for that third heat on site.  Again, this is a job preference request.  You may be asked to do something else if needed.  Thank you for your support.

Mid 60's, partially cloudy.

Sounds perfect to me.

Weather forecast is looking to be high of 55 with 40% chance of rain.  I'm hoping it holds out.  *crosses fingers*

if the weather people are not mistaken it should be raining tomorrow... which will make my first wet/cold autox.
Any tips you guys might have to try to stay as dry as possible?

thanks

Wind/rainproof jacket and a poncho will help quite a bit...

Also, bring extra socks and a second (dry) pair of shoes.  Athletic wear made of synthetic material will probably also dry out more quickly, rather than cotton clothing.

I'll be there bright and early between 6:15 and 6:30 to prep for gate control at 6:45.

Unless someone has dibs; the list shows only me registered for the early slot.

That pretty much sounds like you will be standing alone in the rain for an extended period of time.
6:45 is probably closer to appropriate.

FYI: just because you've elected a position, does not mean that will be your work assignment.
