Work Assignment Selection at Registration

We encourage everyone to register for each event via the axwaresystems.com registration site.  When you register you will be able to select your work assignment preference.  We appreciate you doing so because it makes it easier to organize the day and hopefully make it more likely you値l do a job you enjoy.

Each work assignment will indicate the number of workers we need for each job for the day.  Simply look through the list of registrations and count the number of folks already signed up for the job you壇 like.  If the position you want has not already been filled by the number needed then just select it.  You値l likely get the job you requested but you could be asked to do something else instead.  The software will not block over selection of a particular job so please count the number of selections already made for the job you want before you select it.   If the job you want has been filled select a different one or you can wait till you get on site.

The number needed for each position is based on the assumption that we値l only run two heats for the day, which is usually the case.  If we have over 90+ participants we値l likely run three heats.  If so, we値l assign positions for that third heat on site.  Again, this is a job preference request.  You may be asked to do something else if needed.  Thank you for your support.

All,

Unfortunately I have a last minute situation that will keep me from tomorrow's event so we need a volunteer to act as worker chief for tomorrow.  We have 64 registered online and with walk ups it looks like it will be a pretty big turnout.  Wish I could be there.  I guess George can relax again this month.  Cheesy

If someone would volunteer here then call me at 210-860-2106 and let me know.  I'll contact Ricky directly as well.  I won't be able to take a call today from 0900-1500 but I will call you back and explain the job if you haven't done it before.

I may be able to come out in the morning to help set up and get things going but I'll have to leave by 0930 at the latest so it would be best for someone to take the job for the full day.

We don't do course maps anymore, usually what's on paper and what gets set up are two different things. Then people complain they don't match etc, it's not worth the hassle.

We found a water sprayer at end of day after I had already put up trailer. I have it in my truck and I plan to attend the meeting on Wednesday. There are number stickers on it. Tell me the number and its yours, lol!

It was fun co-driving Justin's supercharged s2k with gears.  Lots of shifting for me as you'll see in the video.  It was also fun carrying lots of cornering speed with the Miata...

Chris, did you use the Trackmaster app this past weekend? Was your tele gps fast enough to plot the course accurately?
