It's a go! We dont usually have last minute conflicts like last weekend. Keep in mind that our club meeting is this Wed if you are interested in attending.

I signed up for gate control.  How much chance do I have to get that job,
or something like it?  Thanks.

Work Assignment Selection at Registration

We encourage everyone to register for each event via the axwaresystems.com registration site.  When you register you will be able to select your work assignment preference.  We appreciate you doing so because it makes it easier to organize the day and hopefully make it more likely you値l do a job you enjoy.

Each work assignment will indicate the number of workers we need for each job for the day.  Simply look through the list of registrations and count the number of folks already signed up for the job you壇 like.  If the position you want has not already been filled by the number needed then just select it.  You値l likely get the job you requested but you could be asked to do something else instead.  The software will not block over selection of a particular job so please count the number of selections already made for the job you want before you select it.   If the job you want has been filled select a different one or you can wait till you get on site.

The number needed for each position is based on the assumption that we値l only run two heats for the day, which is usually the case.  If we have over 90+ participants we値l likely run three heats.  If so, we値l assign positions for that third heat on site.  Again, this is a job preference request.  You may be asked to do something else if needed.  Thank you for your support.

Im looking forward to this event. Not only will it be my second race, but its the day before my birthday. I cant think of a better way to celebrate.  Grin  I hope we get a good turn out for this event. By the way any one else in the group racing a dodge caliber? Would like some advice on how I can improve the handling and my time on the track. Thanks

Probably sway bars.  If you are sticking in stock you should check the rules before you mod your car. If that is no concern, check out the dodge forums as I'm sure others have modded your car.

good luck

I have a freind from the Tejas Miata club here in Austin, who would like to participate.  He has his
helmet.  But, he is not sure if he will be allowed as his Miata does not have a roll bar.

Would he be able to run in Novice without a roll bar?  Please, someone, let me know, so that I
can tell him and give him the info on this event.

Thanks,
Alex

Oscar, you can pre-register on axwaresystems.com and sign up for whatever worker positions are available. Please check the entry list to see what positions have been spoken for besides corner worker stations.
