I am interested in attending this event as a spectator and to learn about this type of event.  What time does this event start?

Thanks,

Lee, set-up starts around 7AM, then registration and tech open around 7.30 or 8. Once track is layed out you can walk through the course. There is also a novice walk-through before the drivers meeting. As soon as the drivers meeting is completed, assigned course workers take their positions while the other drivers grid their cars. First car out is usually around 9.30-9.45AM.
Depending on turn-out, there will be two or three run groups. If there are three, then you work during one run group, drive in another, and then you get a break during the third.

Anyone want to meet me at Retama over the next weekend or one weekday evening for some street sweeping? I have a leaf blower, rakes, brooms, shovels, and buckets.

Angel: Yes, a crack in the windshield that is not within your field of vision should not pose a problem.

If Tom's gonna be coursemaster, I could use a hand with registration.  Any takers?  We start at 7:30 a.m. and there is a possibility I might be late since I work overnights and go to the event straight from work.

I would offer to help but my schedule has changed so that now I work a swing shift.

Maybe we will get a bunch of runs again this weekend with the low number of registered drivers as of today.
