WORK ASSIGNMENTS:

Diana is leaving us for awhile.  We wish her a safe return next summer!!   Smiley

While she's gone I'll be acting as the worker chief.  So, please sign up for the following jobs for next Sunday's event.

MORNING SET UP:
Please Arrive by 0700 for the following.  You don't have to work a job during the day and can leave after your runs.

1.  Course Set Up Assist.
2.  Course Set Up Assist.
3.  Control Trailer and Equipment Set Up.
4.  Control Trailer and Equipment Set Up.
5.  Control Trailer and Equipment Set Up.
6.  Early Gate Control Duty.

Event Master, trailer towing, registration, equipment chief, Tech Inspection and other chiefs already know their jobs.

AFTERNOON PACK UP:
You don't have to arrive until before 0900 before registration closes.  You don't have to work a job during the day but you're committing to help clean up at the end of the day.  This usually goes a lot quicker than set up and working a corner during the day.

1.  Cone collection and barrier replacement.
2.  Cone collection and barrier replacement.
3.  Equipment tear down and Trailer Pack Up.
4.  Equipment tear down and Trailer Pack UP.
5.  Equipment tear down and Trailer Pack Up.
6.  Equipment tear down and Trailer Pack Up.

The above positions for MORNING SET UP and AFTERNOON PACK UP are jobs to support the other chiefs who oversee the many tasks needed to make the day run smoothly.

OPERATIONS:
I will assign these positions (volunteers welcomed!) after the run groups are decided right after registration is closed.  Each position will exist for each HEAT run during the day.

1.  Grid Controller.
2.  Assistant Grid Controller.
3.  Starter.
4.  Computer Operator.
5.  Radio Operator.
6.  Announcer.
7.  Gate Control.
8.  CORNER WORKERS - Around 16 to 20 people needed each heat.

Please volunteer for the MORNING SET UP and AFTERNOON PACK UP jobs in this forum thread.  The rest of the jobs will be assigned just before the driver's meeting scheduled for around 10:00am.

Thanks for everyone's support!!   Grin Grin Grin

I'll be there for Tech.  I will need a second, which I'm pretty sure John Patterson will help!

I don't have a car ready for this season but I intend to show up as a spectator. Do you need help with setup or tear down?

Nitromidgets, any help we can get for tear-down would be greatly appreciated. Its hard to find enough people at the end of the day, especially in this heat, to help.

I'm back in town (Kyle) but I haven't gotten authorization from Mission Control to commit to being there Sunday. I'm gonna try. I should know later today.
