Very very rough scribble.  The only solid info this map gives is that it's CCW (anti-clockwise for Top Gear viewers).

We have plans to chalk the course.  This will make it a lot easier to follow the course since you just have to keep it between the lines.  Slaloms and offsets won't be chalked.  This allows us to use a lot less cones to denote the course which reduces the visual confusion.

The 'chalk' is regular flour.  If anyone has a gas leaf blower, please bring it to the event.  It makes cleanup at the end of the day a lot easier vs brooms.

Novices:
Optional Slalom:  An optional slalom doesn't mean that you have the option to do the slalom or drive around it!  You get to choose if you go left or right around the first cone then slalom the rest.

(guess I shouldn't have made that monkey comment)

Looks like it'll be a quick, but still challenging course - I look forward to it!

Craig - you seem to have a knack for this...as humble as you are.  Undecided

Too bad it's not clock-wise, to wear down the 2/32's difference of my new replacement left rear Falken... Tongue

Hmmm - I guess one should be careful for what one asks for.

I just checked AXWare & there's finally a co-competitor in CS class, but a Porsche Boxter?   Huh?  What was the SCCA thinking when they made up these classes?   Angry

I sure hope it's really stock, like mine!  Still should be fun, with Craig's course...

At least we now have a decent number of competitors - 76!

There are going to be adjustments but this is a little closer to what's going to happen than the scribble.  The black lines show where the course might be chalked.

Great job on a fun course, Craig!  For only the second time ever designing a course, it had a great flow to it.  Here are the results:

Huge thanks to Federico for the early AM help with course setup.  Turns out that he's a course design/setup genius.  Every element that he put in or adjusted turned out to be the parts that people liked the best.

Thanks for the great pictures Oscar!

Troy - congrats on TTOD,  you are respected and hated by everyone in SSM!  Cheesy

Absolutely great coiurse. Much better marking than usual. Anytime you see a course designer go back over the course to change the angle of pointer cones by a few degrees, you know there has been a lot of effort put into the design. I only DNF'ed (twice) due to my own diminished reflexes. Thanks, Robert, for helping with tape and number management.

Really fun day of autocrossing! I nominate Craig for permanent course designer.

That reminds me - Thanks to Vivek for pointing out a couple of important things, like the angle of the pointer cones.  If they are at the wrong angle you see the bottom of the cone and it is distracting.  If the pointer cone is at the proper angle it looks like a......  pointer!

Also, thank you to Ricky and Chris for proofing and adjusting a couple of key areas.

And seriously, the course being good was from the tweaks that were done by others.
