LOL... I know it would come back to haunt me when I let you take that picture, Craig...

Here's just a friendly, anti-Hitler reminder to pre-register for this event if you are planning to attend.  So far we only have 38 drivers pre-registered.  I know it's going to be hot out there, but don't wimp out on us this early in the summer!!  We'll have plenty of cold water on-site, too!  Sign up!!

Do you know how long I've been trying to work that picture in?!

If there are more than 60 people pre-registered I'll post the course map before the event.  Less than that?  I'll post it after the event.  That's what Saddam would do.

It will be hot.   Lots of cool water(and/or some sort of sports drink for the electrolytes) and an umbrella makes corner working vacation like!

Fill with ice in the AM and it should be cold even at 4pm.  Take it with you while corner working.

WaterWaterWater.  Sunshirt or sunscreen.  Sunglasses that won't fall off.  Wide-brimmed stupid looking hat like I wear.

Stand close to the cones you're watching so you don't have to run as far (but not so close you get run over, which is a whole new constellation of problems).

Go up early and ask for gate duty.

I'm not sure how much one gets used to heat and how much is genetic, but most people can do OK if they take precautions.

Last event I was puking my guts out from heat sick.

not fun.

I def want to work a corner, (lol yeah) but i'd rather help setup or teardown. at least till it cools off a bit.

I lasted about an hour out there last event before I started getting dizzy/nauseous.

I'll be more then happy to have my Seattle acclimated ass out there during freezing winter month though.

Scott and I will miss the July event.  I'd like to say it's because Craig is Course Master, but that would be a lie.  July 11th happens to be the day Scott and Kelly are getting married and I feel I should be at their wedding instead of at the autocross.  We'll miss visiting with all you great people and driving our "one-gear" Cobra.  Have a great event.  See you in August.

Don't worry, I'll volunteer to design the next course that you guys are at.  I'll make sure that at least one gate is slightly narrower than the track on the Cobra!

Congrats Scott!
