So, what do ya think?
Take #2?I'm sure most of you know what happened to the last one!!!
http://www.sasca.org/forum/index.php/topic,3940.0.htmlSince when does it get cold in S.Texas?

Hopefully the end of March won't surprise us with an uber-cold day! Oop... Did I just jinx it?
What:A few of us have recently had the chance to run the 1/4 mile for the first time. It's not the same as an AutoX run, but rest assured, it's a hell of a lot of fun none-the-less. But one thing the 1320 has over running an AutoX event, is that good 'ol side-by-side against your foe!
So.. Who's in? Lets' get a good group out there and find out who can go faster in a straight line! San Anton' or Austin!!
When:Wednesday March 31Street & Grudge Racing (Test & Tune)
Gates open at 7:00, races start at 7:30
Why Wednesday? Why not on the weekend? Anybody who has been to a Weekend Test-n'Tune vs a Wednesday TnT can tell you, it's not worth it. On the weekends, there are sooooo many people there you'll be lucky to get 2 runs in after 3 hours.

Wednesdays though? You'll get 8 runs in 1 hour. It's well worth blood-shot eyes the next day at work.
I picked March 31, hoping it doesn't run into any SPOKES or SASCA conflicts. Let me know ASAP If I choose poorly.Where:San Antonio Raceway
http://www.sanantonioraceway.comGather over in the main Pits/Staging area. Up against the wall if there is a decent sized spot.
How about a target of 8:00. Go and get your car tech inspected as soon as you get there though.
No point in waiting. Don't worry, Tech no where near as tight as an AutoX event.
Why:We all love racing that AutoX clock, but there is just no substitute for a good 'ol Adrenaline Pumpin' Heads Up race!!
Or, perhaps your sick and tired of Vitek and Lance kicking your butt when there are corners involved?
Let's see if they have what it takes in a straight line!

Ok, If your In for some Fun, post up in this thread! That way we can get an idea of the expected turnout. Clearly, the more the merrier!
I plan to bring my suction-cup mounted video camera for a bunch of in-car shots. It's really easy to transfer from car to car.
Hopefully we can get someone in the stands with a camera too.
Shane.
