Over the last year or so, we have made a move to have all of our membership information online through the AXWare Online Registration Management (ORM) system. This gives the club a single consolidated location for event registrations as well as membership tracking.
Through the help of Vitek, we have now implemented an online payment system for membership renewals. We charge a $1 "convenience fee" for paying online to cover our credit card processing costs, but it helps make the process quicker and easier for you rather than trying to remember to bring that extra $25 (or $35, if you're a family membership) to the events or our monthly club meetings. Your status is updated immediately, and, as long as you ensure that you pay your membership by the Friday before an event online, it will be updated in our system at the event site on race day.
To pay for your membership online, simply log in to the AXWare ORM system (
http://www.axwaresystems.com/axorm) with your account. You will select from the menu on the left side "My Clubs" and then will click on "SASCA." From there, you will add your membership dues to the 'cart' and then click the check-out button on the left-side menu.
If you do not yet have SASCA as a club listed on your account, simply scroll down to the "Participate in a club" selection, find SASCA, and then click the "Participate" button.
Eventually we may even move to a system where you can pay for the events online during your online registration process. Currently we are not doing this, because we would prefer to not take your money if you end up not being able to show up for an event. At most SCCA events, there is a no refund policy within a certain timeframe of the event taking place... We will need to determine the details of our own refund policy when the time comes to implement this portion of the system.
