Do we need to have a POI on file with y'all for this event?

zoom_x2 - the POI business was a requirement of our prior location.  SASCA no longer collects POIs before events.

Hey, if you don't already have a list going, put my name on for Morning Setup Duty!!
If Dalton needs another Tech helper, I'm in.  Or just tossing cones.. what ever.

Sure thing...  Any other volunteers?  We need a total of four workers:  Two will start 7:00am.  (One for gate...?  One for course setup help (Shane)).

One of the others will be needed at 8:30am until the start of the event for gate duty, and the fourth will be needed starting at ~7:15am to assist with setting up barricades all around the perimeter entrances to the facility.

I will be there in the morning, but I'm hoping somebody else might do the electronics setup I usually do. Not sure how much longer I am going to keep doing setup and then not running. I plan to be available if there are setup issues, and stay until everything is working for the event, but I hope to be working on a PA speaker extension and air compressor hose issues instead of doing setup.  We have GOT to get the times hearable in the GRID. Both for better DNF awareness, and its just more fun for some folks to hear the times. (I have noticed just a HINT of a competetive streak amoung some drivers.  Wink )    I may leave the barbie dream truck at home if we don't need it for setup. It's barely big enough for the job anyway.

Wally -- I'll meet you at the site at ~6:45.

If, for some reason, we can't hitch up the trailer to your vehicle, I will have my truck there and available.

Ed, that's fine to leave your truck at home.  Most likely, Vitek will be setting up our new timing system at the event this coming weekend.  Hopefully everything will arrive in time.  Otherwise, we will have the old gear there as a backup.

We could use a Director of Tape Management at Tech in the morning but I'll leave it up to Ricky and the Worker Chief.

haha, we'll see what you think about the "bigger and heavier" once you hitch that beast up... Luckily it is only a block or two away.  Any farther, and I'd say you pretty much would have to have a brake controller on there.  You'll see what I'm talking about ;-)

Oscar -- sounds good on the early morning (7am) gate duty.

Dalton -- we'll see if we need that this time around...  Looks like we have a lot fewer people signed up, so we don't want to use up too many worker positions.  You will likely have less cars needing to be teched due to a bit lower turnaround.  We'll just see how things go.  We can always pull somebody for the job that morning if we need the extra help.
