by anychance does anybody know if i can show up late , and still run,  i can not be missing church that often, but i get off of church at 12pm..so if i were to show up at an event at around 1pm can i still pay and race?

No, is not possible to register mid-day.  Once registration has closed, the personnel and equipment are occupied elsewhere.

I don't think that works either...
If you miss the first 1/2 of the day, you also miss your worker assignment.
As a result, you get a DNS (Did not Start), or something like that for the day.
Which means your times don't count.
But, I'm only guessing here.

Unfortunately, you would miss out on a lot of important things, such as the drivers' meeting, course walk-through, tech inspection of your car, and your work assignment.  It wouldn't be fair to your fellow competitors that are required to work in the heats that they aren't running, and you end up not having to do that.

I can understand you feel obligated to go to church -- many churches have Saturday evening sessions you can go to as well.

Well, i was completely done in this thread, but now im back to say that i never said that  Wink

I  DID have an  experienced passenger along on my first run. The one i didnt DNF, i guess.

I was saying that since i fucked it all up several times over,  *I* am a n00b.  Ok?

I actually had passengers on all but one run and noone pointed anything out to me. Maybe people are just too nice to me. Kiss
