...anyone care to join me for a quick jaunt to check out the toyota plant before tomorrow night's meeting?..i finish work around five o'clock and plan to head directly there from 281 and thousand oaks, but would happy to caravan along anyone with similar timing...

Hey there...  I drove down there after we talked about it at the Cars & Coffee meet... They don't really let anybody just drive around on the site, but I also didn't see any large parking lots that would work for our AutoX on the Applewhite Rd side of the complex.  With the way the gates are and such, I think they don't really want folks just driving around on their facility.

They do have a visitor center where they give plant tours during the weekdays -- I need to go back out there and talk to them during business hours one day when I get some time.
