Who is up for heading out to San Antonio Raceway Wed, 10 Jun 09 for drag racing fun and tow vehicle challenge.  Bring whatever you got.  Check it against the lights and challenge your friends or even people you don't like.  We've got the tow vehicle challenge with my '06 Pathfinder, against some Tundra trucks (although after following Ricky in his Tundra I think I'm in trouble).  So bring out your tow vehicle, or whatever.  Check out your new mods and amaze your friends.  I figured on being out there around 7pm.  Its $20 to drag and SAR is open until 11pm I believe.

So I just found out today at my new job that I need to go to Dallas to do an install of a server on Thursday morning, which means I'm going to be driving up to Dallas on Wednesday night Sad    Maybe we can push this back one more week??

Who is going?

Won't know if I'm going to make it until tomorrow afternoon.   No tow vehicle either, I need to get the TT down the track before rods shoot out the pan and pistons through the hood.

Yeah. As tough as it seems to be to get a group together, why run the trucks?

I do want to run the Miata some time. If we get a group for tomorrow, I can probably make that.

A bigger group would be more fun through.  Just about any Wednesday works for me if we decide to punt (again).

I'm up for running anything.  I could use some good test runs with the Corvette tomorrow.  Who else is up for some drag fun tomorrow night?

I'll go if Ed goes, either tomorrow or another time.  It's all up to Ed and Jay.

I see a Miata vs Z06 challenge happening!

I'm still in for taking the Corvette out tonight. I was hoping for a larger group, but speeding down a 1/4 mile track is hard 2 pass-up. The Miata vs. Corvette would be interesting.

How about we push this off for 2 weeks so we can talk it up at the AutoX and try to actually get a group together?  This really has the potential to be a good SASCA social activity.  I just don't think too many folks actually read these forums between the autocross events.

Ok, Ed.  That makes sence to me.  We'll just start a new thread, & by the way it would be the same night as our next SASCA meeting.  I would like to get a good sized group together.  So try again on 1 July.  Sounds good

Totally agreed.  I haven't read these forums in a while myself.  I'm sure you could get a lot more people via the driver's meeting at the next autox event.
