if we're talking about racing games, gran turismo 3 is just IT as far as im concerned, and 4 will be, as soon as it comes out.   i think i could be quite easily convinced to lend ps2 and game to the effort if everyone wants, but it is only a 2 player game, so take that into account.

also, wheres the money coming from here?  bets?  im really crappy as a source of money, but ill venture i could consistently rank among the top gaming racers in the club Smiley

As far as PC based games (which make ps2 games look like a crude picture of a car drawn in gravely dirt with a stick) Netkar is great, multiplayer and best of all FREE. Live for Speed costs $20.00 and is easy to play multiplayer, but its a little arcadish kind of like, ahem, Gran Turismo 1,2,3,...n.

I will pay five dollars towards fundraising in the name of anyone who can beat me in Netkar.

I think a good game for the ps2 is mid night club 2 are grand turismo 4 a spec. For the pc it would be test drive the new one. For the xbox it would be sega gt 2002 that is a good game to. I dont play computer games so i dont know any computer except for test drive o ya and the new need for speed those are probolay 2 great racig games for the computer. I like those games i dont know about any body else. But i like them becaude there all multiplayer games with good graphics. They are pretty good games.

I have Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, NHRA 2 and Grand Prix 3, I thought they were all multiplayer, I can rustle up two or three computers and a switch or two.

Also, Party Room at my Condominium may work. Plenty of chairs, not enough folding tables. Not volunteering it just yet, but I will explore as a possible site.

Wheel over my grill and cooler, we can do a evening-dinner fundraiser; $$ for dinner, $ to play......it might be easier to set up and clean afterwards.

what about that Sports Car GT game for the PC you were talking about at one of the meeting a while back, that game is prolly the most realist. yeah its a little old but has just as good as graphics.  Its has BMW's, Saleen's, Porche's, and A few of the Panoz cars, if you crash or hit a wall you actually get damage, and you have to make a pit stop to get it fixed, very fun game [Cheesy]

LAN PARTY!!!!!!!!!!
i love lan partys, and a car game specific one would be awesome!
(lan partys are where everyone takes their computers and hook them up to eachother, then game together in a large match).

I can get a lot of games, and i think Need For Speed:Hot Pursuit 2 (the newest one)is awesome, and Toca Pro Race driver has to be THE MOST realistic game of racing.  It has the coolest damage graphics, and actually has motion blur and depth of field blur effects!
