Ken,

Good inputs and I appreciate the excellent points you bring up. I want to make something clear, I have no power to direct any action of the club. I am much the same as you, a voice, I will let the SASCA membership decide what to do with the SASCA forum and no we are not trying to elitist but recent events on the forum have caused me to question wheter or not this should be open to just anyone that happens to find the site.

Thank you, Mike.

I hope that this forum does not change from its current state.  I enjoy reading the posts here.  I even get a laugh out of a few of them from time to time.

I understand that sometimes there are situations where a forum member may seem to get out of hand.  That happens.  (the same situation has happened over at  www.classiczcars.com )  As a group of like-minded, intelligent people, we should be able to easily overcome these situations and continue with our discussions.

This site has lots of good information.  I especially like the lessons on course design and best lines for certain design aspects.  There are also lots of people with tons of information stored in their heads.  That information is useful to everyone.  Again, I hope this information stays available to non-members.

Cudos to everyone, and keep up the good work.[:-thumbu]

As always, absolutes are rarely the right answer. Making part of the forum open to the public so as to help encourage new membership and promote the club is a desireable thing, also having an area that is not open to the public and allows club issues to be addressed only among its members is a good thing as well. As with most things in life, it's all about finding the right balance.

Thats a great idea... why not instead of just having a guest book make the members only forums and site members and visiters forum....  That seems feasable right.... and also the reason i was asking about the site changing and me not being able to do anything on it was based on not feeling able to join the club... As Mark said... all I am trying to do is fit in yes but i try too hard and i thought that would ruin my chances of being an sasca member due to recent events... but like i said before either way whether you say it or not i owe an apology too every1 and i do so in saying i am sorry for past comments and conflicts....

And whoever anonymous is ... I dont care what you said.. they are just words... And i would just like to know who you are so i can apologize personally for any aggrivation I have caused...  I just wanna bury the hatchett
