i know it says you have to have a valid lisence, but do learners permits count? my drivers ed instructor said that it is considered a valid lisence with restrictions. can i race with it?

Sorry, but no. This question comes up fairly regularly. Our insurance does not permit drivers with a learners permit to compete.

Autocross is definitely a great way to learn instincts for safe driving.  As soon as the permit turns into a license, come on out and try it out -- you'll get hooked.

ok... i will most definitly come out and watch (if my dad is up to it)

what about if i were to have my dad co-drive with me, even for fun runs. he is insured on my cars too
