As of 14:35 10/14 we have 88 POI images. Great works folks.  Here is a list of the POIs recieved so far. Its sorted by last name so should be able to confirm receipt easily. Its still not to late to send in your POI.
http://www.mindspring.com/~eharloe/sasca/att/POI_List.txt

All images recieved by email got an email cofirmation, but some came in via postal mail.

TOMORROW ( Tuesday Oct 17th) is the DEADLINE for getting your POI in for this event.  We are up to 97 POI images.  But only 60 some folks have pre-registered. You can pre-register at http://www.dlbracing.com.

i've been reading this and i just want to make sure i have this clear  so i don't misinform any newcomers when i invite them.

The insurance fro SASCA covers damage to on site property. Like if we hit a light pole or trash can right?

And if someone gets hurt waivers are signed so SASCA is not responisble.

Also if you mess up your car, or it gets messed up for what ever reason, collision or mechanical damage the waiver also releases SASCA from liabilty.

So if someone damages their car.....of course our insurance wont cover it so it will be out of pocket to repair our own veichles.

Is all that right?
So then POI is simply for legal reasons with this specific venue...right?

So if this is true then when that civic dudes tent flew up and landed on my car and made numerous scratches and dents I have no course of action other than to just grin and bear it. Is that correct?

That would probably be considered a comprehensive claim on your insurance if wind picked up an object and caused it to hit your vehicle.  If you don't have full coverage, then yeah, that's about all you can do.

Once MY tent became airborne at Houston event, hit a rare BMW with original paint...I WAS MY FAULT since I had not secured my tent enough to keep it grounded. I offered & DID pay for the guys BMW & also another car next to his. My HOMEOWNERS insurance covered it with no out of pocket expense to me. My insurance also allowed the owner to chose his repair place due to the BMW being rare & the quality of the OEM paint. THe owner ended up being very satisfied.

I DO FEEL that whoevers tent did the damage IS THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY! Courts feel the same way. If the tent dude is needs to be contacted & requested to find a way to fix or if so led you can always take it to court if it is worth it to you by the actual damage.

"Just a quick question Ed. Who all will have access to these POI's? As you are well aware, most insurance companines are not very interested in insuring people who use their vehicles for competition. Just wouldn't want my insurance folks to be able to associate my POI with a competitive event!"

--This has been one of my questions, and I don't see an answer listed here.  If AT& T has the POI's, what happens to this information?  Are they going to shred it at some point?  Also, what would prevent them from using the names and addresses for other purposes that they may have?  Also, I have seen that everybody's names are listed on the public list available for the whole world to see.  I've been busy, but would like to do an autocross every once in a while, and haven't been interested in giving AT&T this info up to this point nor having my name on a list of insured.

AT&T does not receive copies of the insurance cards that are captured.  Although, if they requested them, we would probably have to comply.  Currently Ed Harloe is the only one that has these records in his files.

Just because your name is on a list of people who have sent in their insurance information, does not necessarily mean you are a participant.

Thanks for the info.  It always sounded, from what I have read in the minutes and other posts, that this info had to be provided to AT&T.  Otherwise, how would their legal dept. know that the copies were being kept.  But, if that is the case, then that sounds very different and more acceptable.  However, I'm still not cool yet with my name on the list of those insured.  I'll have to think about it some more.
