We need another class for novice like last year.

That was a terrific class with good teachers, hope we have another like that one this year. [:-thumbu]

I'm really hoping that we can get the Windsor Park Mall lot back for a novice event sometime this spring.  We'll try our best to get one together.

My son (a novice, first time out) and I had a great time this past weekend running my old bmw. I don't have an scca rule book but I was able to determine at your event that my car is still classed as an 'ep' because of engine mods. We did run on stock street tires, and I am wondering if this car can compete in a street tire class? Is there a list of class rules anywhere that I can review? Thanks,

Hi, John.  Yes, you are eligible to run in Tire class.  The 2005 SCCA rule book is available freely online at http://www.scca.com/_filelibrary/File/2005SoloRules.pdf

Welcome to you and your son.

Kevin, the particular sound that the engine makes may simply be the muffler/outlet pipes on the car, but, I have done several mods to the engine: triple 40mm sidedraft (DCOE) Webers, 305 degree Shrick cam, matched, polished, and ported intake manifold, head, and exhaust, lightened/balanced rods and flywheel, modified distributor to eliminate vacuum and set it up for mechanical advance only, and I am running an MSD ignition module.

Yes, welcome John!

Quick question. What have you done to the Bimmer? It diffinetly has a unique sound at WOT.
